Similac Spit-Up Formula is on sale for $3.84 cents. I purchased 11 (please leave at least 1 for someone else) with 11 $5/1 coupons, earning me $12.76 in overage (money the store would owe me if I checked out without anything else). For me, this was my shopping money for the day. I didn’t plan on paying anything OOP (Out-Of-Pocket).

The whitestrip sample, single-use floss, and trial of Crest came with the actual toothpaste I purchased. There were some slightly cheaper, but I wanted to samples & coupons for next time.
I’m sure some of you don’t have children that use formula; neither do I. In this case, I was able to give it all to my nephew. If it is a brand no one I know uses, I donate it to the local food pantry or shelter. Formula is something they can always use and many people overlook.
Fareway can be a great way to cut your grocery budget, but you have to be prepared when you walk in there. Some of their prices are great, but others may be better at another store.
Fareway accepts IP coupons and allow stacking. They also match local competitor ads, so make sure you have both ads in hand when you go.

I love to online shop and find great deals. Whenever I am looking for something, I start by comparison shopping. Once I know where I’m shopping, I check out Retailmenot for some great coupon codes. Typically, I can save 10-30% this way. I also use 2 different rebate companies.
Ebates is my first choice because they offer cash back & pay out 4 times a year (check or Paypal). It ranges from 1-26% depending on the site & they have all my favorites (Target, Kmart, Ebay, Groupon, and so many others). Ebates also gives a sign-up bonus & money for referrals.
Upromise was designed to help save for college. Instead of cash back, the money goes into an account & can be used once it hits the $25 mark. There are 4 ways to use your savings: pay down existing student loans, transfer to a 529 college plan, give to someone else, or request a check. I use Upromise whenever I shop at Walmart.com, because they offer a higher percentage than Ebates and it is a good way to save an additional $50/year for my boys’ college funds.
